i think it should be raised to $50. we need more exclusivity. also no one is grandfathered in, however we would just pay a $30 upgrade fee.
I agree with @cat, I might not have donated yet but I plan to do so sometime in the future. This forum deserves to live on.

Soon. A surprising number of people have asked for additional ways to give money but I've turned them down because I feel something has to be given in exchange. I'm going to build a shopping cart with ways of changing people's avatars and titles as to promote a sense of community and allow people to fuck with lolcow accounts without PMing me. The number of times I get requests asking for me to change the XYZ of person ABC is high enough that I think something like this is worth the time to build. Our temporary host is a fleeting thing, and while I've not been given any deadlines to move out, people are harassing my friend's host (and my friend's host's business partner's father ???) with emails like this trying to get the gosh darn queaky forms taken down. There is absolutely no evidence that this is going to happen, and the host has stayed steadfast, but I'm reluctant to remain a burden with them any longer. The problem is that hosts willing to put up with these sorts of emails are expensive, you are compensating them for their hardware and their patience. That's why I need to find different ways of making money off the site.
