Next time Chris maces someone I'll be waiting for the first comment along the lines of "Remind me who thought it was a good idea to give Lardie any money? DStecks should be named as co-defendant with Chris!"

 

I don't know if anything in Christory has me so divided than this. I mean, on the one hand we get the potential of a lot more content. But knowing OPL, he'll probably get writer's block somewhere down the line and never finish $1000 worth of pages.

And Mr. Steckley... I understand guilt and how really analyzing Chris showed him a little part of himself that he hates; I'm sure OPL has done this to many in one way or another, but $1000?? I'm having a hard enough time justifying donating enough for a medallion. I mean I hope this helps with Danny's demons, but spending that much on Chris?? Seriously?? Still, with the potential content, I cannot help but salute him.

I love Dstecks' Sonichu reviews. I find them entertaining. Obviously, the Sonichu reviews are the most viewed videos he's made. By not continuing on, I have a feeling that he will fade away as well. Fans want more of what they love. I'm just curious if he'll pull a Doug Walker on this one.

 

My question is, if the next court date, he serves jail time, then what happens ?

 

He said he would continue doing reviews, just not sonichu reviews. He also mentioned he'll probably not do webcomic reviews, but more movie stuff.

 

Brother, whoever did that is the spergiest sperg who ever sperged and I would legitimately kick them in the nuts if I saw said person in real life. You could donate it to a soup kitchen, or an animal shelter, or a domestic abuse shelter, and you fucking give the money to a lazy fat ass to spend on legos and drag queen shows?

I can't name a bigger charity case than Chris.

I live in the Philippines now and have learned to appreciate money even more than I already did, but honestly, it was his money. He could have set it on fire and it'd of not mattered. There's no great cosmic injustice here. Chances are Stecks would've spent it on the same shit Chris does, panties (probably) excluded.

I would hope that the irony of someone running a Hulk Hogan gimmick account for years on a forum dedicated to documenting every last detail of a man's life, no matter how minor, calling someone else a sperglord is not lost on you.

Barring that, I'm not at all bothered by someone spending their money on Chris. I'm more than happy with new content. I'd certainly never spend that much on it, not even if I had enough to bankroll it no problems, but I think it's entertaining. This backlash reminds me of when my friends and I decided to get those commissions last year and how mad people got over that for literally no reason other than a lot of people who post here are just as autistic as Chris or A-Log. They don't even realize it, or think it's somehow different, but it's really not.

 

As long a it's not my money, more sonichu can't be bad.

 

I won't comment on the money amount but I think it's great that we will get more Sonichu from this. I didn't know about Chris 'til just some years ago so I never saw the first comics when they were posted and felt like I missed some great moments (even if I could just read about them afterwards and see the forementioned comics, it's just not the same), especially since Chris wasn't doing much with the Sonichu characters anymore, I'm happy about the idea of getting new content! Plus, it seems like Chris is really motivated by this donation judging by his messages.

I always thought that if I ever had the money, I would definitely commission Chris for something more personalized like my OCs or just fanart of characters I liked but my wish for new comics is even bigger, so I'll be cautiously hyped and see what happens now

Well, there is at least this part of the video where Dstecks shows a message from Chris saying she'll do the pages, so we at least have her word that she'll do them eventually, if not in a timely manner.

 

The only question I have is *if* Chris has it in him to write 100 pages of anything, even Sonichu. That's a lot of work, even spread over time and I can see anyone getting tired of such high output.

I don't think that's going to be a problem, assuming no time limit. Sonichu 8 alone was over 100 pages.
